These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Unmaskery.com website and web application (the "Service"), operated by Altogether Ventures Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company incorporated under the laws of New Zealand. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

Introduction to Unmaskery.com

Unmaskery.com provides a 14-day authentic self-discovery journey through voice analysis and external feedback. The Service is designed to foster self-awareness and personal growth by helping users understand their personality traits, motivations, and perception gaps. Features include user authentication, subscription management, guided voice recording, AI-powered speech pattern analysis, emotional tone detection, transcript generation, comprehensive reports, and an external feedback system.

Key Terms

Service: The Unmaskery.com website and web application, including all features, content, and services provided therein.

Company: Altogether Ventures Limited, the operator of Unmaskery.com.

User/You/Your: Any individual or entity accessing or using the Service.

Account: The user account created by you to access and use certain features of the Service.

Subscription Plan: Paid tiers (e.g., Essential, Complete, Premium) offering different features and access levels.

Voice Data: Audio recordings, speech patterns, emotional tone data, and transcripts generated from your voice recordings within the Service.

External Feedback: Anonymous feedback collected from contacts invited by you through the Service.

AI Analysis: Artificial intelligence and machine learning processes used to analyze Voice Data and generate insights, reports, and recommendations.

User Responsibilities

User Accounts and Authentication

You must register for an Account to access certain features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your Account if any information is inaccurate, not current, or incomplete.

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities under your Account. Use strong passwords. We are not liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply.

3.2 Email Verification and Normalization

Your email address will be verified and may be normalized (especially for Gmail) to ensure consistency and prevent account management issues.

Subscription Plans, Payments, and Refunds

Unmaskery.com offers multiple paid plans (Essential, Complete, Premium) with varying features, contact limits, journey durations, AI analysis capabilities, and access options. Details and pricing are available on our website.

4.1 Payment Terms

All payments are processed via Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you agree to Stripe's terms. You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the selected plan and any applicable taxes. All fees are in NZD unless otherwise specified.

4.2 Automatic Renewals and Cancellations

Unless otherwise stated, all plans are one-time payments and do not auto-renew. If we introduce recurring plans, you will be notified, and details will be updated in these Terms.

4.3 Upgrades and Downgrades

If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, changes take effect at the start of your next journey or billing cycle. Prorated credits or charges may apply. See our Subscription FAQ for details.

4.4 Refund Policy

We offer a 7-day full money-back guarantee from the time of payment. Contact hello@unmaskery.com within 7 days for a full refund. Refunds are not available after this period.

4.5 Payment Verification

We reserve the right to verify payment information and may suspend or terminate your access if payment cannot be processed.

Legal Framework

Permitted and Prohibited Use

5.1 Permitted Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for your conduct and any content you submit or display on the Service.

5.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its data.

Attempt unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.

Upload or transmit malicious code.

Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

Data Privacy, AI Processing, and Security

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and disclose your information. By using the Service, you consent to these practices.

6.1 Voice Data Collection and Use

We collect Voice Data through daily recordings, which are analyzed for speech patterns, emotional tone, and transcripts using external APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Perplexity). Your data is securely stored and only used to provide insights, coaching, and reports. Data sent to third-party AI providers is transmitted securely and used solely for delivering the Service. We do not permit these providers to use your data for their own model training or product improvement, except as required to provide requested analysis.

6.2 External Feedback and Anonymity

The external feedback system is designed to collect anonymous feedback from your invited contacts. We strive for anonymity but cannot guarantee it if contacts include identifying information in their feedback. Technical and organizational measures are in place to protect feedback provider identities.

6.3 Data Security and GDPR Compliance

We implement reasonable security measures (e.g., encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, regular security audits) to protect your data. While we operate under New Zealand law, we consider GDPR compliance in our practices. EU users have rights to access, rectify, erase, object, and export their data. 6.4 Data Export and Account Deletion

You may export your data (audio files, transcripts, reports, feedback) at any time via Account settings or by contacting support. Account deletion requests will be processed within 30 days, with all associated data permanently erased unless retention is required by law.

Service Terms

Intellectual Property and User Content

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property on the Service are owned by Altogether Ventures Limited or its licensors. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7.1 Your Content and License

You retain ownership of your Voice Data, feedback, and other content. By providing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and perform your content for operating, developing, providing, and improving the Service. If we use anonymized or aggregated data for research, product improvement, or marketing, it will not identify you. You may opt out of such use by contacting support.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Medical or Professional Advice

Insights and recommendations from Unmaskery.com, including AI analysis, are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical, psychological, or professional advice. Consult a qualified professional for such concerns.

8.2 Service Availability

We strive for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Access may be suspended temporarily for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Altogether Ventures Limited and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

9.1 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled first by negotiation. If not resolved, the parties will attempt mediation under the Mediation Rules of the Arbitrators' and Mediators' Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ). For EU and other international users, nothing in these Terms limits your statutory consumer rights under local law. Arbitration may be offered as an alternative to litigation for international disputes.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email and/or in-app notification before new terms take effect. By continuing to use the Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use of the Service.
